You likely already use Slack to communicate with team members and share files and ideas, but if you’re not using it outside of your company channels, you’re missing out.

Let’s take a look at the top seven Slack channels for marketers you need to join.

1. OnlineGeniuses

Online Geniuses is one of the biggest Slack channel for marketers — and for good reason.

The OG group boasts members from top companies including Facebook, Macy’s, GrubHub, Google, Best Buy, Viacom, and today it has more than 30,000 members from across the globe.

You can get real-time marketing advice in its numerous channels dedicated to everything from SEO to social media marketing, and it has both a free Slack community and a Pro one with an ever-expanding talent network.

Online Geniuses hosts more than 50 local events in various cities. And it has a popular series of Q&As with some of the top marketers in the world, including Gary Vaynerchuk, Guy Kawasaki, and Christi Olson, so it’s no wonder it’s one of the top digital marketing Slack groups you can join.

2. Demand Curve

This growth-marketing company hosts a Slack community with channels on numerous topics, such as content marketing, paid social ads, e-commerce, and more.

Its members include marketers from Microsoft, Segment, Zendesk, Clearbit, just to name a few.

While this Slack channel for marketers is free to join, you must apply for an invite by submitting your name, work email address, and link to your LinkedIn profile.

Once you have access and begin interacting with the group, Demand Curve may invite you into some of its hidden Slack channels as well.

“We maintain a high bar of conversation quality by selectively inviting Slack members into our hidden channels once they’ve shown they contribute meaningfully to our community,” according to its website.

3. Superpath

Many Slack channels for marketers are open to people from a variety of fields beneath the umbrella of “marketing,” but Superpath is devoted especially to content marketing.

More than 3,000 professionals are part of this network, where they participate in high-level discourse on topics of content strategy, writing, and networking.

Plus, Superpath hosts a popular job board for a variety of content-specific roles.

You must apply to join the community, and Superpath asks that you read its community guidelines first.

4. Growmance

This Slack channel for marketers bills itself as a “free digital marketing, growth hacking, and lead generation community available to anyone that loves marketing.”

You don’t have to apply for entry or wait for an invitation — just sign up and start interacting with thousands of fellow marketers.

In addition to the Slack community itself, Growmance also boasts early access to new marketing technologies, marketing certifications, help finding jobs and job candidates, and more.

5. Marketers Chat

Here’s another free Slack community that you can instantly get access to, but there are a few limits on who can join:

  • Any marketer who’s freelancing or working with a startup or small business
  • Any marketer who’s not following 200,000 people on Twitter

This Marketers Chat community has ten channels and more than 6,000 users.

The channels aren’t as fast-moving as many of the other Slack channels for marketers on this list, but it has a reputation as being a great place for new marketers to get their feet wet, ask questions, and make connections.

6. CRO Growth Hacks

Interested specifically in conversion rate optimization? Have we got a Slack community for you!

The CRO Growth Hacks Slack channels are dedicated solely to “conversion rate optimization hacks that improve growth using techniques such as CRO, SEM, SEO, email, business strategy, and more.”

These Slack channels for marketers are free, but you do have to apply for entry and the approval process can take up to two weeks.

7. Product-led Growth

Approximately 2,000 people participate in this Slack community for marketers, and it has members from several big-name SaaS companies, including PayPal, HubSpot, and Amplitude.

Joining is as easy as entering your email address, and then you’ll immediately have access to numerous channels, including #jobs-board and #reading-list.

8. RevGenius

RevGenius became one of the fastest growing Slack communities around B2B sales and marketing practitioners. Currently, there are over 20k users in the community and its continue to grow.
